Joe’s Cafe is thrilled to be crowned the King of Cake in Fox 8’s Nola Weekend King of Cake Contest. We would like to thank our fans for coming out to vote this carnival season. For five weeks, Joe’s Cafe competed against multiple bakeries across Southeast Louisiana. Mardi Gras 2023 was a banner year for Joe’s Cafe King Cakes. Due to the increasingly high demand for Joe’s Cafe king cakes, the shipping store closed a little earlier than scheduled. Fans can still get their king cake at one of Joe’s Cafe locations through Mardi Gras Day, February 21, 2023 or at any of our grocery store sellers.
